Played GW1 and first year of GW2, and finished the game with 3 level 80s, so I have an understanding of game dynamics and storyline. I bought Thorns/Fire expansion combo last week. I chose a new Rev for the open character slot and popped the level 80 boost. Was pleasantly surprised to see him decked out in all level 80 exotic gear post boost. Click the item again to cancel the trial and go back to your original level or make the trial permanent. If suddenly being level 80 is too overwhelming, you could level normally and save the boost for an alt, or consume it on a character that's already level 80. When you do finalize it, you'll get some nice bonus items!
Depends how much you're enjoying the leveling experience. I'd go for the boost if you think you'd enjoy being confused in level 80 content more than being bored in levelling content. You probably will be confused if you boost, but you'll probably be confused regardlesss.
because it says so when you use it. It says it unlocks lvl 80 waypoints. CzarTyr • 6 yr. ago. The boost says in it's description it unlocks all level 80 wps. lnxam • 6 yr. ago. No, it says "Explore max-level Tyria with starting waypoints unlocked in Dry Top, Frostgorge Sound, and Straits of Devastation."
No key missed, those are from story rewards, and not just level up.. Let's see. lvl 38 - Karma booster. This and AP chests arethat the only remaining source of this specific type of Karma booster.
I got a level 80 revenant with (I think) the glider expansion. I already had 4 level 80 avatars, so I understand the game - I was lost on that cat. When you start at the beginning you learn your character abilities and traits as go. With a level 80 boost it is all just there (he even came with max gear). I just had no idea who or what he was.
Delivery of Level 80 Boosts and Shared Inventory Slots has been temporarily disabled so that we can address an issue. We’ll re-enable them after the issue has been corrected, and players will automatically receive their items. Thank you for your patience.

Second of all, if you want to start a new character with a different profession, playing the game is how you learn how to play that profession. If you use a level 80 boost, you will have the same problem as before: You’ll be a child in an adult’s body. You will be a level 80 Necro (or whatever) with absolutely no idea how to play Necro (or

Using an 80 boost gives you nothing really; you are given health/vit gear which is very under powered on most classes (some classes can get away with it, but only in openworld and pvp) and no resources/money, leaving you to grind in openworld to play catch up.
Well it seems you did what most people do. Create character, be totally lost on what to do, ask reddit, then I'm Not sure if you are to this step yet but be angry when everyone says start a lvl 1 and lvl it to 80 the real way to learn mechanics of both the game and class. Then after you have lvled the new mesmer to lvl 80 you should have When using the level 80 boost, it keeps saying "That content has been temporarily disabled" When using the level 80 boost, it keeps saying "That content has been temporarily disabled" By Jasoniskewl.1507 .
